Mahindra XUV 700

Mahindra XUV 700 is a compact SUV offering that was developed at Mahindra Research Valley in India with inputs from Mahindra Design Studio, UK. Based on the all-new global monocoque SUV platform, the XUV 700 SUV was first introduced in August 2021 and then launched on 30th of September 2021.

Mahindra XUV 700: Exterior

The 2023 Mahindra XUV 700’s exterior design is a matured evolution of the now discontinued Mahindra XUV500. Up front, the vehicle features a muscular bonnet, and a new grille with twin vertical bars, which gives it a strong road presence. The new grille blends into the new sweptback LED headlamp units.

Moving to the side, we see the new flush door handles and signature kink behind the C-pillar which is carried forward from the XUV500. The new model rides on 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and features body cladding all around.

Towards the rear, the car features tri-arrow tail lamps along with a roof spoiler and silver skid plate. Overall, the four-wheeler offers a striking new exterior design that is unlike anything we have seen from Mahindra & Mahindra.  

Mahindra XUV 700: Interior and Features

Interior: The New Mahindra XUV 700 interior is more revolutionary and less evolutionary. The new cabin features a layered dashboard design with more tech than ever before. The use of soft touch materials alongside the new black and beige colour theme help enhance the premium feeling on the inside. 

Features: 2023 XUV 700 gets features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Besides, the SUV offers a 6-way powered driver seat, up to 12 speakers, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control.

Safety: In terms of safety, the SUV gets 7 airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ABS with EBD and ISOFIX anchors. The top-end variant also comes equipped with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) comprising Lane-Keep Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Mahindra XUV 700: Price and Variants

Mahindra XUV 700 price in India starts from Rs 13.99 lakh and extends up to Rs 18.49 crore (ex-showroom). The model is available in 30 variants namely MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7, including the optional Luxury Pack for its top-end variant with a choice of both manual and automatic transmissions.

Mahindra XUV 700: Engine and Specification

Mahindra XUV 700 is powered by two engine options; a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol mill and a 2.2-litre diesel unit. The petrol powertrain can generate 197 bhp and 380 Nm torque while the diesel power plant delivers 182 bhp with 450 Nm torque. Both powertrain options are mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The automatic of the high-spec AX7 and AX7 L trims are offered with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.

The Mahindra XUV 700 measures 4,695 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,755 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. The car gets a large 60-litre fuel tank and 17/18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, depending on the variant selected.
