Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz Overview
Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz is a subcompact SUV that was recently launched in the Indian market. Based on the standard X100 platform, the new model shares its exterior design, interior and features with the less expensive XUV300. First introduced at the end of 2022, the new SUV gets a more powerful engine along with subtle cosmetic updates to highlight its sporty intent.
Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz: Exterior
The Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz exterior design is identical to the XUV300 with its chiselled lines, wide face and bulging wheel arches. Upfront the SUV provides new bits such as red highlight accents on the vertical slat grille and the air intake alongside blacked out ORVMs.
On the sides, the silhouette is the same as its stock sibling. What we can see is a dual tone colour scheme alongside flared wheel arches, black plastic cladding allround and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Towards the rear, it gets the usual roof mounted spoiler, LED tail lights, reflector inserts on either side and a silver skid plate.
Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz: Interior and Features
Interior: On the inside, the Mahindra SUV offers a familiar cabin design that is finished in an all-black theme. With the dashboard layout remaining the same, the vehicle gets metallic pedals for an enhanced sporty feel.
Features: XUV300 Turbo Sportz offers features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone AC, premium leatherette seats, electric sunroof, cruise control and a smart electric steering wheel.
Safety: In terms of safety, it gets up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, corner braking control, all-4 disk brakes, hill start assist, front parking sensors and more. The SUV is built on the same X100 platform as the XUV300 that has received a 5-Star Safety Rating for Adult Protection in the GNCAP Crash test.
Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz: Price and Variants
Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz price in India starts from Rs 9.31 lakh and extends all the way to Rs 13.01 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in 4 variants namely W6, W8 and W8 (O) with only one powertrain option.
Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz: Engine and Specification
The New Mahindra XUV300 Turbo Sportz is powered by the powerful 1.2-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine that is rated for a maximum power output of 130 bhp and 230 Nm torque. The engine also offers an overboost function that increases peak torque to 250 Nm. The power plant comes mated to only a 6-speed manual gearbox option.
The Mahindra SUV exterior dimensions are identical to the standard XUV300. It measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,821 mm in width and 1,627 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. The car gets a small 42-litre fuel tank and 16-inch alloy wheels.
