Maruti Suzuki Alto K10

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is the cheapest litre-class BS6 compliant car currently on sale in the country. In its second generation, the nameplate has been in existence since 2014 before being discontinued in 2020 and replaced with the larger S-Presso model. But in 2022, Maruti reintroduced the model with a new design and more features.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: Exterior

Compared to the previous generation model, the New Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is larger and more curvaceous. The overall design mimics that of larger cars like the Maruti Suzuki Celerio.

The front end is characterised by the new honeycomb grille and elliptical headlamp unit, while a reprofiled bumper with strong character lines complete the overall look. Towards the sides, the 2023 Alto K10 gets new 13-inch steel wheels. 

Towards the rear, we can witness a curvy tail gate along with a D-shaped combination lamp. The car skips body coloured ORVMs even on the top-end variant.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: Interior and Features

Interior:

On the inside, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10’s cabin features an all-black theme with silver highlight accents all around. The car offers an upright dashboard layout with the A/C controls placed at the bottom similar to the Alto 800. 

Features:

The 2023 Alto K10 gets a new 7-inch Smartplay Studio touchscreen infotainment system along with a new digital speedometer with large read-out for the speed. The car also provides a new three-spoke steering wheel and first-in-segment four-speakers on the doors borrowed from larger models like the Celerio and the WagonR.

The four-wheeler comes equipped with fabric seats, front power windows with central power window switches, smartphone navigation and remote central locking among other functions.

Safety:

In terms of safety, the Alto K10 gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, engine immobiliser, reverse parking sensors and more basic equipment.

Maruti Alto K10 price in India starts from Rs 3.99 lakh and extends to Rs 5.96 lakh (ex-showroom). The four-wheeler is offered in a total of 7 variants - STD, LXI, VXI and VXI+.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: Engine and Specification

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is powered by the updated 1.0-litre K10C engine. This unit is offered with both petrol and CNG fuel type. The engine produces 65 bhp and 89 Nm of peak torque in the petrol guise, while the figures drop to 56bhp and 82Nm for the CNG version.

The 2023 Alto K10 is offered with a 5-speed manual and an AMT automatic gearbox option.

The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 measures 3,530mm in length, is 1,490mm wide and 1,520mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,380mm. The car gets a tiny 27-litre fuel tank and 13-inch steel wheels.
