MG Cyberster

July 25, 2025: The long-awaited MG Cyberster has finally been launched at an introductory price tag of Rs 74.90 lakh, ex-showroom. Those who have pre-booked the car will get it at Rs 72.49 lakh. 

March 27, 2025: JSW MG Motor India has started accepting pre-bookings for the much-awaited MG Cyberster two-door electric sports car. Interested buyers can book the new EV online at MG Select website or at authorised MG Select dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 50,000.

January 18, 2025: MG Motor India has revealed the new Cyberster electric two-door sports car at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The company has confirmed that the new electric sports car will be sold through MG Select dealerships. 

MG Cyberster Price in India

The Cyberster electric two-door electric sports car is available in a single variant. The MG Cyberster is priced at Rs 7499000, ex-showroom Pan India.

The new MG Cyberster comes equipped with LED lighting system, electric scissor-doors and soft top convertible. In terms of features, the roadster gets a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, two 7-inch auxiliary screens, and an independent 7-inch vertical infotainment screen. 

Other features include dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a flat-bottom steering wheel, ventilated and power front bucket seats, wireless phone charging, and a Bose 8-speaker audio system.

Safety features of MG Cyberster

The new Cyberster electric roadster comes equipped with multiple airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree surround view camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and others. It also comes with LEVEL 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite with features like Land Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Auto High Beam and others. 

Range and Charging

The new MG Cyberster is packed with an Industry’s slimmest battery pack of 77kWh with 110mm thickness, and a dual-motor AWD set-up. The combined power and torque output stands at 510hp and 725Nm of torque. This electric Roadster is available in 4 driving modes - Comfort, Sport, Custom and Super Sport. 

It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The electric model has best-in-class drag coefficient of 0.269 Cd. The MG Cyberster is claimed to offer a certified range of 580km (MIDC Cycle). 

Charging

- AC charging (full charge): 7 hours
- DC fast charging (10% to 80%): 35 minutes
- Also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) to power other devices on the go

Colors 

The new MG Cyberster is available in 4 exterior colour choices - Flare Red, Nuclear Yellow, Andes Grey, and Modern Beige.

Dimensions and boot space

In terms of proportions, the Cyberster is 4535mm long, 1913mm wide and 1329mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2690mm. The electric roadster has a ground clearance of 116mm, which is typical for sports cars and roadsters. The two-seater convertible has a boot space of 249-litres.

Competition

The new Cyberster won’t have a direct rival in the Indian market. It comes as an affordable electric sports car.
