On the other hand, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 Facelift comes with the Next-Generation 1.5-litre K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology to deliver a refined driving experience which is mated to a 5-speed manual or the new 6-speed automatic gearbox. For the automatic variant, there are paddle shifters as well. The XL6 offers 102 bhp and 136.8 Nm of torque. Presently, the KIA Carens is more powerful than the Maruti XL6 Facelift. Carens delivers a maximum power output of 138 bhp. Its 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 250 Nm of peak torque. Even in terms of transmission, Carens has the upper hand as it provides a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Considering the specifications and pricing, Maruti XL6 can be a potential rival to Carens but KIA seems to be winning the game.
