Maruti Suzuki XL6 is a Multi-Purpose Utility vehicle that features premium three-row seating with captain seats for the middle row. Based on the Ertiga, the vehicle has been on sale in India since 2019 and spawned numerous facelifts. The car was last updated at the start of 2022, when it got changes to the front facia, along with a host of modern feature additions. 

The XL6 is sold through the company’s NEXA dealership chain and offers a premium experience to its owners.

Despite undergoing a facelift recently, the Maruti XL6 retains its strong exterior design. The 2023 model’s exterior is characterised by a bold NEXA grille with sweeping X-bar element. A chrome line connects the new quad chamber LED headlamp units that flank the front grille. Lower down there is a new housing for the fog lamp along with a faux skid plate Moving to the sides, we witness the new design machine cut 16-inch alloy wheels. Towards the rear, which has not changed from the last generation model, new elements include a smoked LED tail lamp with light guide and a black bar on the boot lid.

Overall, the design of the 2023 Maruti XL6 is an evolution over the Ertiga.

Interior: On the inside, the Maruti XL6 features a layered dashboard with multiple finishes including plastic, premium stone finish and rich silver accents. While the overall design of the dashboard is not different from the last generation model, it features more equipment than before.

Features: The Suzuki XL6 gets the more advanced 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, coloured digital MID, ventilated front seats, cooled cup holders and more. One also gets a premium all-black interior with captain seats and leather wrapped steering wheel.

Safety: In terms of safety, the New Maruti XL6 offers up to 4 airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, Hill-Hold Assist, a 360-degree camera and TPMS among other standard features.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 Price and Variants

Maruti Suzuki XL6 price in India starts from Rs ₹11.57 Lakhs* and extends to Rs ₹14.53 Lakhs* (ex-showroom). The car is offered in 9 variants namely Zeta, Alpha and Alpha+ with manual and automatic transmission options and dual tone paint scheme option. The XL6 CNG is available only on the Zeta trim.

Engine and Specification

The MPV is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C engine that is offered with both petrol and CNG fuel type. The unit produces 102 bhp and 136 Nm of torque in the petrol guise, while the CNG trims are rated for a lower 87 bhp and 121 Nm torque. The MODEL is offered with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.

The Maruti XL6 measures 4,445 mm in length, 1,775 mm in width and 1,755 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,740 mm. The vehicle gets a 45-litre fuel tank and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Colour Options

It includes NEXA Blue, Brave Khaki, Opulent Red, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver and Artic White. Dual tone options are available on Splendid Silver, Opulent Red and Brave Khaki with black roof.
