2026 Suzuki XL7 facelift leaked before debut. New grille, fresh alloys and updated styling revealed. Could preview the future Maruti Suzuki XL6.
The 2026 Suzuki XL7 facelift has been leaked ahead of its official global debut, giving us an early look at the updated premium MPV. The refreshed model was expected to make its first public appearance at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), but leaked images have revealed most of its exterior changes before the big unveil.
The facelifted XL7 will be sold in ASEAN markets such as Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. While there's no confirmation for India yet, the updated design could eventually influence the next Maruti Suzuki XL6, as both MPVs have shared similar styling over the years.

The biggest changes are visible at the front. Suzuki has redesigned the grille, replacing the current split layout with a much larger single-piece unit finished in gloss black.
A thick centre section houses the number plate, while a new silver skid plate has been added below the bumper. Chrome detailing stretches across the grille, creating a connected look between the headlamps. Depending on the variant, this trim may also be offered in an all-black finish.
The headlamp design remains largely unchanged, but the fog lamp housings have been redesigned with slimmer lighting elements for a cleaner appearance.
The side profile remains familiar, although the facelift introduces a new set of alloy wheels. Suzuki is expected to offer black as well as dual-tone wheel finishes depending on the variant.
At the rear, the design is mostly unchanged. However, earlier spy shots have hinted at smoked LED tail lamps, giving the MPV a slightly sportier look.
The leaked images only show the exterior, so the interior updates remain unknown for now. However, reports suggest that the 2026 XL7 facelift could receive a larger touchscreen infotainment system along with a few feature additions.
Like the current model, the XL7 is expected to continue with a second-row bench seat, making it a practical seven-seater. This remains one of the biggest differences compared to the India-spec XL6, which offers captain seats in the middle row.

Under the hood, the facelifted XL7 is likely to retain the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with Suzuki's mild-hybrid system.
Since the current powertrain already delivers a good balance of performance and fuel efficiency, Suzuki is not expected to make any major mechanical changes with this update.
Maruti Suzuki has not confirmed if the revised styling will make its way to the Indian-market XL6. However, given the close relationship between the XL7 and XL6, there's a good chance that at least some of these design updates could be introduced when the XL6 receives its next facelift.
For now, the leaked images offer a clear preview of what's coming, with the official debut expected to take place at GIIAS 2026.
