Citroen SUV Cars in India


Citroen SUV range includes Basalt, Aircross and the C5 Aircross. The Basalt is a coupe-SUV which comes as an affordable alternative to the likes of the Tata Curvv, Hyundai Creta and others. The Aircross is a mid-sized SUV, which is available in both 5 and 7-seat layouts. It is available in the price bracket of Rs 8.62 lakh and Rs 14.60 lakh, ex-showroom. The C5 Aircross is the only diesel model in Citroen India line-up. 


Citroen Electric Cars in India


Citroen is currently selling a single electric car, the Citroen eC3 in the Indian market. It is available in the price bracket of Rs 12.90 lakh to Rs 13.53 lakh. The eC3 directly rivals the Tata Punch EV and the Tiago EV. It is claimed to offer a certified range of 320km on a single charge. 


Upcoming Citroen Cars in India


Citroen is planning to launch multiple new cars in the Indian market. The company will introduce the facelift versions of the C3, eC3 and AirCross. Adding to it, the electric derivatives of the Citroen Aircross and the Basalt Coupe SUV are also under development for the Indian market.

The Citroen C5 Aircross SUV was the brand’s first product in our market. It was introduced as a CKD model. The French automaker has two manufacturing facilities in India. The Thiruvallur plant is used to locally manufacture and assemble cars, while the Hosur production unit manufactures gearboxes and engines for both domestic and export markets.
