Basalt X Comfort Edition gets 'Comfort AXS' packs It has a 10.25-inch Android-based touchscreen JBL audio system, rear view camera, dual dashcams

Citroen India has launched the Basalt X Comfort Edition at a price tag of Rs 8.75 lakh, ex-showroom. Citroen claims that the special edition of the Coupe-SUV brings a range of “premium interior enhancements, convenience features and curated personalisation options.” 


Key Features


The Citroen Basalt X Comfort Edition comes equipped with ‘Comfort AXS’ packs, which are offered on the base ‘You’ and mid ‘Plus’ trims of the Basalt. It is packed with a 10.25-inch Android-based touchscreen infotainment system, a JBL audio system and a rear view camera. Other features include beige leatherette seat upholstery, wireless phone charger, and dual dashcams with predictive safety alerts. 


It comes equipped with rear tilt cushion and winged headrests, ambient lighting, tripicalised auto AC with 14 degree cooling, electric adjustable and auto folding ORVMs, one touch auto down all 4 power windows, and Proxi-Sense passive entry & push start/stop. 


Engine and Gearbox Options


The Citroen Basalt X base ‘You’ trim is powered by a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 82hp and 115Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The mid-level ‘Plus’ trim gets a more powerful 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 110hp and 190Nm of torque. The torque output increased to 205Nm when engine is paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
