Citroen has launched the updated Aircross X in India, with prices starting at Rs. 8.29 lakh. The SUV gets a fresh look and several new features as part of the company’s '2.0 - Shift Into The New' strategy to keep the Aircross competitive in the crowded SUV market.
The Aircross X brings some exciting updates, both inside and out, to make it more appealing to buyers.
On the outside, the biggest change is the addition of an 'X' badge. While the overall design remains similar to the previous model, this small update gives the SUV a fresh identity. The design is still sporty and modern, keeping the Aircross looking stylish and in line with current trends.

Inside the cabin, Citroen has made some notable improvements. The ventilated leatherette seats make driving more comfortable, especially in hot weather. There’s also ambient lighting and footwell lights that add a premium touch to the interior. The gear lever has been redesigned for a more modern look, and the 10.25-inch infotainment system is now bigger and more intuitive. You’ll also find a new 7-inch instrument cluster that makes important driving info easier to read. The cabin gets a more refined feel with gold accents on the dashboard and other areas.
Citroen has added a range of features to make the driving experience smoother and more enjoyable. The Proxi-Sense technology makes it easier to interact with the car, while push-button start and cruise control add convenience. The auto-dimming rearview mirror reduces glare from headlights behind you, and the projector LED headlamps and fog lights improve visibility, especially at night.
One standout feature is the 360-degree camera, which is available as an optional add-on for Rs. 25,000. For tech lovers, the Cara AI system comes with voice recognition that supports 52 languages, though it’s exclusive to the Max trim.
Citroen has made sure the Aircross X is as safe as it is stylish. It comes with six airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), and ABS with EBD for better handling and braking performance. There’s also hill hold assist for those tricky uphill starts. Rear parking sensors come as standard, making parking much easier and safer.
Citroen Aircross X is available in 10 colors, including the new Deep Forest Green. There are also several dual-tone options, like Deep Forest Green/Perla Nera Black and Garnet Red/Perla Nera Black. For the interior, there are three color options, and for those who want to make their car stand out even more, a dual-tone roof can be added for Rs. 20,000.
The Aircross X continues with the same engine options as before. You can choose between a 1.2L petrol engine that gives 80 bhp and 115 Nm of torque, or a 1.2L turbo petrol engine that produces 109 bhp and 190 Nm of torque with the 6-speed manual (6MT) or 205 Nm with the 6-speed automatic (6AT). For those who prefer a more eco-friendly option, there’s also a dealer-level CNG retrofit available. The SUV comes in both 5-seat and 7-seat configurations, making it a versatile choice for families.
The Aircross X comes in several variants, and here’s how the pricing looks:
- YOU variant (1.2P NA, 82 MT, 5 seats) is priced at Rs. 8,29,000.
- PLUS variant (1.2P NA, 82 MT, 5 seats) is priced at Rs. 9,77,000.
- MAX variant (1.2P Turbo, 110 MT, 7 seats) is priced at Rs. 12,34,500.
