Citroen is gearing up for an exciting launch with the upcoming Aircross X, set to join the brand's expanding line-up this festival season. Following the success of the Citroen C3X and Basalt X, the Aircross X is expected to raise the bar with new features and design updates for Citroen's popular three-row SUV.

The Aircross X will bring several upgrades from its predecessors, so it competes strongly in its segment. Key features to look forward to include:
- 360-degree camera
- Push-button start with keyless entry
- Full LED headlamps
- Ventilated front seats
- Dual-tone upholstery
- Wireless phone mirroring
Additionally, Citroen’s new Cara virtual assistant, which was introduced in other models. It may also be integrated into the Aircross X to offer enhanced voice control and interaction features.
Under the hood, the Aircross X is expected to feature a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with 109bhp and up to 205Nm of torque, available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. Citroen is also expected to offer a more affordable entry-level variant with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 80bhp, giving customers multiple options to choose from.
In addition to the Aircross X, Citroen is also preparing to launch a CNG-powered version of the Aircross, marking the brand's second CNG vehicle after the Citroen C3 CNG. The Aircross CNG will use the same 1.2-litre petrol engine but will be fitted with a CNG retrofit kit. This CNG variant will be available through Citroen’s certified retrofit program, ensuring high-quality fitment and reliability.
With the increasing demand for CNG cars, especially in areas like NCR and Gujarat, Citroen’s move to offer a CNG version of the Aircross is a smart and timely decision. The Aircross CNG will come with a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty, giving buyers added peace of mind.
This CNG version is also expected to cater to the fleet market, where the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Tour M currently holds a strong presence. The Aircross CNG will offer a similar package but will feature a retrofit kit, which is likely to add an extra Rs 1 lakh to the standard model’s price.
