Land Rover Cars is the luxury off-road capable vehicle brand of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The company has a very diverse portfolio of vehicles divided into the Range Rover family, the Discovery family and the Defender family. The Range Rover family consists of the Land Rover Evoque, Velar, Sport and the new Range Rover, while the Discovery Sport and the New Discovery fall under the Discovery line-up. The Land Rover Defender makes up the Defender line-up.

Land Rover is a part of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Group which is a subsidiary of Tata Motors. The luxury British marque started as the Rover Company in 1885 and produced bicycles in Warwickshire, England. The brand started automobile production in the 1940s. Since then the company has been synonymous with tackling the most extreme off-road terrains.

Tata Motors acquired JLR in 2008 and after almost a year, the brand entered the Indian automobile market. The first products launched were the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and the Discovery.

Land Rover Cars price starts at Rs. 69.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the least expensive Range Rover Evoque luxury SUV. The product portfolio goes all the way up to Rs. 4.17 crore (ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line Range Rover LWB model.

Recently, Land Rover Cars launched the Range Rover priced at Rs 2.39 crore (ex-showroom). Other recent addtions include Range Rover Sport starting at Rs 1.65 crore (ex-showroom).
