New teaser gives another look at the next-generation Mitsubishi Pajero. Premium cabin and H-shaped LED lighting signature revealed. Global debut of the new SUV is expected later this year.
Mitsubishi has shared another teaser of the next-generation Pajero, giving SUV fans a better idea of what the upcoming model will offer. The latest video reveals parts of the interior, shows the new LED lighting signature and hints at the SUV's rugged design before its global debut later this year. The teaser was shown during Mitsubishi's Star Camp event in Japan, where a limited number of attendees got an early look at the production-ready SUV.
One of the biggest highlights of the new teaser is the cabin. Although Mitsubishi has not fully revealed the interior, the video confirms a black and beige dual-tone theme with stitched door panels, giving the SUV a more premium look than before. People who previewed the SUV also said the cabin feels spacious and comfortable. The teaser even shows grab handles inside, a practical feature that has always been part of the Pajero's character.

The teaser ends with the SUV covered under a cloth, but one key design element is clearly visible. The H-shaped LED lighting signature lights up at the front, offering a preview of the new face. Even with the body hidden, the outline suggests the Pajero will continue with its upright stance, boxy shape and strong road presence. These design cues show that Mitsubishi is keeping the rugged look that the Pajero is known for while giving it a more modern appearance.
Mitsubishi has already confirmed that the next-generation Pajero will share its platform with the latest Triton pickup. The SUV will continue to use a body-on-frame chassis, making it suitable for both everyday driving and off-road use. However, Mitsubishi says the Pajero will get its own suspension setup, chassis tuning and other changes to deliver better ride comfort and handling.
The new Pajero is also expected to get a major upgrade in technology. Earlier teasers confirmed a digital Multi Meter display, inspired by the classic triple-gauge layout seen in older Pajero models. The production SUV is also expected to feature a large touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and several modern comfort features.
The next-generation Pajero is shaping up to be one of Mitsubishi's biggest launches in recent years. It will combine a more premium cabin, updated styling and modern technology while keeping the tough body-on-frame construction that has made the SUV popular around the world.
More details, including engine options, features and market plans, are expected to be announced when the new Mitsubishi Pajero makes its global debut later this year.
