Kia hasn’t announced the launch date of the Syros EV in India. Testing of the new electric SUV has already been commenced. Our sources reveal that the new Kia Syros EV will go on sale in the second quarter of 2026.

Safety Features of Syros Electric

For safety and security, the new Kia Syros EV will come with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, front-side and rear parking sensors, 360-degree surround view camera and others. It will also have LEVEL 2 ADAS tech with features like autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, and others. 

Battery Specs

The Kia Syros EV is likely to source its powertrain with the Carens Clavis EV, which is available with 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery choices. The electric SUV is expected to offer a range of up to 400-500km, depending on the battery choices.

The Kia Syros EV will rival the likes of the MG Windsor EV, Tata Nexon EV and others in the compact electric SUV category.
