Kia Syros BaaS price starts at Rs 7.99 lakh Extended range model starts at Rs 17 lakh Two battery choices - 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh
Kia India has launched the much-anticipated Syros EV at an attractive price of Rs 13.50 lakh for the 42 kW variant and Rs 17 lakh for the 51.4 kWh Extended Range variant. Kia India is offering Assured Buyback Programme, Batter-as-a-Service (BaaS), and a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty with the new Syros EV. The electric compact SUV will go on sale at Kia dealerships nationwide from 30 July 2026.
The Kia Syros EV with BaaS program is available at a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh along with a battery EMI of Rs 3.3 per kilometre. Adding to it, the electric compact SUV is backed by a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty, 15 years, with unlimited kilometres. The Syros EV is backed by industry best Assured Buyback programme, offering an introductory resale value up to 80% after 3 years. Customers can choose from 3 or 4-year tenures with flexible annual mileage options, and at the end of their chosen term can retain, return or replace their vehicle.

The Kia Syros EV is being offered across seven trims and two powertrain options. The variant line-up includes HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTK+ ER, HTX ER and HTX+ ER along with the top-of-the-line X-Line. The Kia Syros EV 42 kWh is available in the price bracket of Rs 13.50 lakh to Rs 16 lakh. On the other hand, the 51.4 kWh Extended Range version is priced between Rs 17 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Kia Syros EV comes in nine exterior colours — Glacier White Pearl, Frost Blue, Gravity Grey, Pewter Olive, Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte, Ivory Silver Gloss, Aurora Black Pearl, and, exclusively for X-Line ER, Xclusive Matte Graphite and Aurora Black Pearl — and three interior themes: Cloud Blue & Grey, Onyx Black & Off-White, and the exclusive Onyx Black & Hunter Green.

The new Kia Syros EV is available with two battery packs - 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh - both come with a front-axle-mounted electric motor. The smaller battery version offers 135 PS and 255 NM of torque, while the bigger battery with a front-axle-mounted motor delivers segment-best 171 PS and 255 Nm. The 42 kWh unit offers an ARAI certified range of 443km and the 51.4 kWh unit offers 526 km on a single charge.
Using an 11kW AC fast charger, the 51.4 kWh and 42 kWh battery can be charged from 10 to 100 per cent in four hours and 50 minutes, and four hours, respectively. The SUV supports up to 100 kW DC fast charging that takes the battery from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes. The Syros EV also features a 10.8 kW onboard AC charging capacity, backed by the K-Charge ecosystem's Integrated Route Planner and flexible charging controls.
It is claimed to achieve 0-100 kmph in just 8.1 seconds. EV-exclusive technologies include Paddle Shifters for Regenerative Braking with Auto Mode and i-Pedal, Vehicle-to-Load (Internal), a Battery Heating System, Digital Key, Virtual Engine Sound System (VESS) and Shift-by-Wire – Column Type.

The new Syros EV is packed with a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display Panel - integrating a 12.3-inch HD instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch Touchscreen navigation cockpit and a 5-inch climate control interfaces. This is supported by Kia Connect 2.0 with 95+ features, OTA software updates, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a Harman Kardon premium 8-speaker sound system and a Smartphone wireless charger.
It comes with 60:40 split rear seats with slide and recline function, rear ventilated seats, a 4-way powered driver seat, dual pane panoramic sunroof, 1st row 64-colour ambient mood lighting with LED footwell lamps, smart dash cam with dual camera, rear door sunshade curtains, and others.
For safety and security, the SUV gets LEVEL 2 ADAS featuring 16 autonomous functions. It comes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Break Assist System (BAS), Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, ISOFIX Child Anchorages and Rear Occupant Alert. All Wheel Disc Brakes and Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold comes as standard.
