Mahindra XUV400

Mahindra XUV400 is a compact electric SUV offering that is developed specifically for the Indian market. This new SUV is the electric version of the XUV300 which is currently on sale in India. Built on an modular ICE platform, the new electric vehicle is larger than its ICE counterpart.

Mahindra XUV400: Exterior

The exterior design of the New Mahindra XUV400 is reminiscent of the XUV300 but with a few EV touches. Front end of the new model features a closed off grille along with new sweptback headlamps and copper EV touches.

On the sides, the electric SUV provides new design 16-inch alloy wheels and a charging. the charging port on the front left fender. In addition, the increased length has also helped in making the new SUV more proportionate compared to its ICE counterpart.

The back of the car looks similar to the front, and it has some features in common with the 300 model. These include a spoiler on the roof, a Mahindra logo in copper, LED tail lights that are very clear, a badge that says XUV4OO, and a skid plate.

Mahindra XUV400: Interior and Features

Interior: Moving inside, we once again see the copper highlights on the dashboard and the steering wheel. The overall layout of the interior is identical to the XUV300 but now features a new all-black theme.

Features: New XUV400 gets equipment such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation & 4 speakers, 60+ connected car apps and features, drive modes, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, a single-pane sunroof, and push-button start-stop.

Safety: In terms of safety, the XUV400 gets six airbags, ABS+EBD, disc brakes front & rear, ISOFIX, and a rear parking camera.

Mahindra XUV400: Price and Variants

Mahindra XUV400 price in India starts from Rs 15.49 lakh and extends up to Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The model is available in 3 variants namely EC and EL trims with an automatic transmission.

Mahindra XUV400: Engine and Specification

Mahindra XUV400 is powered by two battery packs. It includes 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh units. Mated to a single electric motor, both battery packs can produce a power output of 147 bhp and 310 Nm torque. While the small battery provides a range of 374 kms, the larger one delivers 456 kms of range.

The XUV400 measures 4,200 mm in length, 1,821 mm in width, and 1,634 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. Besides, the car gets 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The Mahindra XUV400 is available in 10 different exterior colors to choose from. These colors are: Infinity Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Arctic Blue, Napoli Black, Galaxy Grey Dualtone, Napoli Black Dualtone, Infinity Blue Dualtone, Everest White Dualtone, and Arctic Blue Dualtone.
