Mahindra Bolero Overview
The Mahindra Bolero is a popular mid-size SUV, particularly in rural India. It was first launched in 2000 and the design of the new model is based on the Mahindra Armada Grand. The vehicle uses the company's ladder-on-frame construction.
Over the years, the Bolero has gone through three generations and several special editions. The most recent update was in 2020, which included the installation of a BS6 compliant diesel engine.
Mahindra Bolero: Exterior
The Mahindra Bolero’s exterior design is functional with a boxy appearance. The tough looks of the SUV are emphasised by the large flat bonnet and an almost upright A-pillar. The front fascia offers a multi-slat grille, large rectangular headlamp units and signature X-shaped bumper.
On to the side profile, we get to see new decals on the doors along with extended fenders and 16-inch steel wheels.
Towards the rear, the Bolero SUV provides a horizontally opening tailgate that features a rear mounted spare wheel with wheel cover alongside vertical square lights. Overall, the Bolero’s outside design is simple with an imposing stance.
