The homegrown automaker, Mahindra will launch 3 SUVs in the first week of October 2025. The brand’s most popular and oldest SUV, the Bolero will receive new set of upgrades, while the Bolero Neo facelift will receive much-needed makeover and features upgrade. The Bolero Facelift and Bolero Neo facelift are most likely to launch on October 6, 2025; however, Mahindra is yet to reveal the exact launch date.
Mahindra has already started dispatching the new Bolero facelift to dealerships, and customers preview and test drives are expected to begin soon. Not just new Boleros, the three-door Mahindra Thar facelift will also launch in the first week of October. It is most likely to be launched on October 2, 2025.
The Bolero nameplate will receive a new black exterior finish. In terms of styling, the SUV will receive a slightly revised front grille, an updated bumper and wheels. The SUV will continue to offer rugged styling with metal bonnet, upright stance and boxy proportions. The SUV will have vertical grille slats with Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo, rectangular headlamps, flared wheel arches, 15-inch steel wheels with covers, and a tailgate mounted spare wheel.
Inside the cabin, the new Bolero facelift will have a new touchscreen infotainment unit, which will be basic in nature. It will support Bluetooth connectivity. It will continue to offer three rows seating with third-row getting jump seats. It is likely to get new upholstery for seats.
The Mahindra Bolero facelift will be powered by a 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 75hp and 210Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox driving the power to rear wheels will be offered as standard.
The Mahindra Bolero Neo will receive cosmetic design changes, but major changes are expected inside the cabin. On the outside, the SUV will get major changes in the front fascia. It will have horizontal slats in the grille and revised bumper that houses an updated lower grille with similar horizontal patterns. The SUV will continue to offer 15-inch alloys.
The cabin will receive a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which will be different than the one offered in the XUV 3XO and Thar facelift. Moreover, the SUV is expected to get features like automatic climate control, ventilated seats, wireless charging, and push-button start.
Powering the Bolero Neo facelift is the 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder mHawk 100 turbo-diesel engine that produces 100bhp and 260Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox will come as standard, and AMT option could make a return.
