Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a Multi-Purpose Vehicle that offers three-row seating and practicality at a budget. The Vehicle has been on sale in India since 2012 and spawned three generations and numerous facelifts during its lifecycle.

The car was last updated in 2023, when it received a revised front fascia, along with a host of modern features. The model has been a fast seller for the company since its launch.

Maruti Ertiga Exterior

The Ertiga has gone through many changes, but its exterior silhouette remains the same. It now has a more chiselled look. The front end is characterised by the new chrome winged front grille and a large bumper with definite creases.

Towards the sides, there are definitive creases along with new blacked out 15-inch alloy wheels. Towards the rear, it provides new chrome garnish that extends the width of the vehicle along with new L-shaped LED taillamps.

Interior: The interiors of the Ertiga are more appealing than ever before. The car gets an evolutionary dashboard design and a cabin that is finished in dual-tone Beige/Bronze theme with word inserts.

Features: The new Maruti Ertiga gets a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay support alongside a dedicated blower for the second row of seats, In addition, the four-wheeler provides connected car technology, digital MID, a flat bottom steering wheel and more.

Safety: In terms of safety, Ertiga gets up to 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Hold Assist and more basic equipment.

Maruti Ertiga's price in India starts from Rs 869000 and extends to Rs 1303000 (ex-showroom). The four-wheeler is offered in 9 variants namely LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus.

Engine and Specification

The Suzuki Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C engine. This unit is offered with both petrol and CNG fuel type. The engine produces 102 bhp and 136 Nm of torque in the petrol guise, while the figures drop to 87 bhp and 121 Nm for the CNG version. There is a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifter on offer with the model.

In terms of dimension’s, the vehicle measures 4,395 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,690 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,740 mm. The car also gets a 45-litre fuel tank and up to 15-inch alloy wheels.

The mileage of the Ertiga is set at 20.51 kmpl for the petrol variants, while the CNG trims return 26.11 km/kg.
