Maruti Suzuki Swift is the most popular 5-seater city hatchback available in the India currently. A familiar model in the market since 2005, the four-wheeler has spawned three generations and numerous facelifts during its lifecycle with a fourth-generation model ready for launch next year. Maruti Suzuki Swift: Exterior

The Maruti Suzuki Swift’s exterior design is an evolution over the previous generation models. The new model features a flowing design that provides new hexagonal grille with honeycomb mesh. The lower part offers a plastic element connecting the fog lights to create a smiling face. The new headlamp units are swept back and now feature a projector set-up. 

Like the global Suzuki Swift, the Indian model also gets a chrome accent line on the grille to enhance the overall appeal of the car.

On the sides we get to see new 15-inch two tone machine cut alloy wheels. Towards the rear, Swift car provides a sloping tailgate featuring LED taillamps and a body coloured bumper.

Interiors: The Maruti Suzuki Swift’s interior features an all-back theme with a flowing dashboard design. There are silver highlights across the dashboard and steering wheel to add premiumness to the otherwise plastic cabin. 

Features: The Features of 2023 Swift gets a twin-pod analogue instrument cluster with a coloured 4.2-inch MID, a leather wrapped flat bottom steering wheel and 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system. In addition to these features, the car also provides cruise control, automatic climate control and more.

Safety: In terms of safety, the 2023 Swift gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, reverse parking camera, Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX anchorage points, and a co-driver seat belt reminder.

The 2023 Maruti Swift price in India starts from Rs 5.99 lakh and extends to Rs 8.89 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Maruti Suzuki Swift offered in a total of 9 variants. The petrol-powered models are available in LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ trims with both manual and automatic gearbox options, while the CNG powertrain is available on the VXI and ZXI variants only. 

There is a choice to opt for dual tone paint on the exterior with the top-of-the-line ZXI+ variant.

Maruti Suzuki Swift: Engine and Specification

Maruti Suzuki Swift is powered by an updated 1.2-litre engine. This unit is offered with both petrol and CNG fuel type. The engine produces 89 bhp and 113 Nm of torque in the petrol guise, while the figures drop to 76 bhp and 98 Nm for the CNG version. The car is offered with the choice of a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift measures 3,845 mm in length, is 1,735 mm wide and 1,530 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,450mm. The car gets a standard 37-litre fuel tank and 15-inch precision-cut alloy wheels.
