August 12, 2025: Citroen C3 has received a new top-end C3 X variant, which comes with features like cruise control, push button start, 360-degree camera and more. Adding to it, the Citroen C3 line-up has received a major price cut.
 

August 12, 2025: the Citroen C3 prices has been reduced by up to Rs 1.29 lakh. The base variant now starts at Rs 5.25 lakh, receiving a price cut of Rs 98,000. The C3 Feel variant is now cheaper by up to Rs 1.29 lakh, and now priced at Rs 6.23 lakh. 
 

16 June, 2025 - Citroen has launched the new C3 Sport Edition in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 6.44 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Sport Edition comes with subtle design and interior changes. The cosmetic enhancements costs Rs 21,000 more over the regular variants. 

15 May, 2025 - Citroen has added a CNG retrofitment kit with the naturally-aspirated petrol version of the C3 hatchback. The C3 retrofitting costs Rs 93,000 over the regular model. 

10 April, 2025 - the French automaker has launched the new C3 Dark Edition in the country. It is based on the top-spec variant and costs an additional Rs 22,500 over the standard model.

Citroen C3 price in India starts from Rs ₹5.25 Lakhs* and extends to Rs ₹10.27 Lakhs* (ex-showroom). The model is available in 33 variants - Live, Feel, Shine trims with a manual transmission.

The Citroen C3’s interior is minimalistic with specific rugged touches. Finished in hard plastic the cabin features a vertical dashboard layout and an all-black theme. From the driver's seat the visibility all around is good with a high seating position and large glass area.

In terms of equipment, the New C3 is provided with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers wireless phone mirroring, a digital instrument cluster, a height-adjustable driver seat, four-speaker sound system, and more.

Citroen C3 Safety Features

In terms of safety, the Citroen C3 gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, speed sensitive auto door lock, high-speed alert system, rear doors manual child lock, and more as basic equipment. It also gets ESP, hill-hold assist, Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and Day-Night IRVM.

Design Highlights

The hatchback comes sporting a bold look that is unlike anything we have seen in the market. Categorized as a hatchback by the company, the new model gets a bold face with a large flat bonnet and sleek grille providing the brand logo placed in the center.

The front end also features new split headlamp units that maintain the LED DRLs at the top while the main units are placed lower down on the bumper. In addition, there is a large hexagonal air dam along with faux silver skid plate that enhances the overall ruggedness of the vehicle.

As for C3 side profile, the overall silhouette of the car is similar to the larger model with a tall stance, flat panels, roof rails and thick body cladding. Despite being a small car, the MODEL sports a good ground clearance and rides on 15-inch wheels. Finally towards the rear, the SUV inspired design continues with an upright boot lid, wrap around tail lamps and a silver skid plate.

Engine and Transmission

Citroen C3 is powered by a choice of two petrol engines; a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated mill (80 bhp/115 Nm) and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit (108 bhp/190 Nm). While the former engine comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, the latter is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox option.

The Citroen C3 offers an ARAI Certified mileage of around 19.8 kmpl with manual transmission.

Dimensions and Boot Space

The New C3 measures 3,981 mm in length, 1,733 mm in width and 1,604 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,540 mm. The car gets a large 30-litre fuel tank and 15-inch alloy wheels.

The C3 hatchback offers a boot space of 315-litres, which is good enough to carry your weekend bags. Customers can also extend the luggage space by folding the second-row seats.

There are 10 exterior colour options available on the C3. Its monotone colour choices include Polar White, Platinum Grey, Zesty Orange, and Steel Grey.
