23 July, 2025: Renault India has launched the Triber facelift in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 6.24 lakh, ex-showroom. The sub-4 meter MPV comes with design changes and an upgraded cabin. Major changes include front parking sensors, an improved digital driver’s display, connected car tech, 6 airbags as standard and an air purifier.
The 2025 Renault Triber is available in 4 trim levels - Authentic, Evolution, Techo and Emotion - and in total of 5 variants. The Triber price in India starts at Rs 629000 and extends up to Rs 916995. All the prices are ex-showroom, India.
The Renault Triber is in its first generation and has been specifically designed for the Indian market offering spacious cabin, modern features and good ride quality. It is manufactured to cater to the needs of a family that requires a versatile seven-seater vehicle that can be used for both commuting and weekend getaways.
The vehicle is based on a modified version of the CMF-A (Common Module Family - Affordable) modular platform. The CMF-A platform is a low-cost platform that was jointly developed by Renault-Nissan and Daimler.
Renault Triber's interior layout is spacious and modern with flexible seating options. It comes in a dual tone theme with a modern and clean design for its dashboard. It has circular A/C vents with silver accents. Creature comforts onboard the vehicle include cup holders, 60:40 split for the second-row seats and a 50:50 split for the third row of seats.
The New Triber provides features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Push-Button Start/Stop, power windows, a rear view camera, 12V sockets in 1st/2nd/3rd row, electrically adjustable ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), keyless entry, tilt adjustable power steering, cooled center console among others.
In terms of safety features, the Renault Triber gets six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD and brake assist, electronic stability program, tyre pressure monitoring system, traction control system, hill start assist, reverse camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
The new Renault Triber is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that generates a maximum power output of 72 bhp and a peak torque of 96 Nm. The powertrain is mated to both a 5-speed manual and a 5-Speed automatic transmission (AMT). Customers can also opt for a retro-fitment CNG option with 3 years warranty.
The Renault Tiber returns an ARAI Certified mileage of 18.2 kmpl.
The new Triber is available in 9 colour choices, namely Zanskar Blue, Shadow Grey, Moonlight Silver, Amber Terracotta, Stealth Black, ICE Cool White, Amber Terracotta with Mystery Black Roof, Shadow Grey with Mystery Black Roof and Ice Cool White with Mystery Black Roof.
The Renault Triber has no direct rival in our market. It comes as an affordable alternative to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Rumion and Kia Carens Clavis.
