Renault Triber Turbo priced at Rs 7.84 lakh It offers 21kmpl of mileage
Renault has finally launched the Triber Turbo in the country at a starting price of Rs 7.85 lakh. Compared to the naturally-aspirated model, the turbo variant costs Rs up to 1.1 lakh more. It is powered by a 1.0L, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that also powers the Renault Duster and Kiger.

The Triber Turbo is available in three variants - Evolution Turbo, Techno Turbo and Emotion Turbo - priced in the range of Rs 7.85 lakh and Rs 9 lakh. Customers can opt for dual-tone colour options by pay an additional Rs 21,000.
It is powered by the same ‘HR10’ 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that also powers the Kiger and Duster. However, the engine has been tuned to offer a higher 180 Nm of torque instead of 160Nm in Kiger and 166Nm in Duster. Peak power output stands at 100hp. A 5-speed manual gearbox transmitting the power to front wheels comes as standard; however, a CVT option is expected to join the line-up soon.
The Triber MPV is claimed to offer a 0-100kmph acceleration in just 10.8 seconds. The Triber Turbo manual is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 21kmpl.
The Triber 100PS becomes Renault India’s first vehicle built on the new Renault Group Entry Platform (RGEP). Supporting the powertrain is an all-new Renault Engine Management System (R-EMS) developed to optimize performance, responsiveness, and efficiency.
The vehicle also benefits from a completely reworked engineering package including:

* Advanced thermal management architecture
* New structural enhancements for durability and crash performance
* Revised suspension geometry
* Front and rear anti-roll bars
* MTV Damper Technology
* Optimized braking system calibration
* Dedicated vehicle dynamics tuning for Indian road.
The Renault Triber Turbo comes equipped with an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital LED instrument console, automatic air-conditioning, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and a Smart Access Card. It also gets independent air-conditioning with vents for the second and third rows. It is equipped with six airbags and 21 safety features as standard. The MPV gets front parking sensors, a rear-view camera with guidelines and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
