Engine - 1.0L 3-cylinder NA petrol
Renault Triber is India’s most affordable 7-seater car, which comes with a removable third-row seat. The MPV is available in 4 trims - Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion. It comes with 6 airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD and brake assist, TPMS and traction control system as standard. It is powered by a 71bhp/96Nm, 1.0L, 3-cylinder, dual-VVT petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT unit. Customers looking for a CNG version can opt for CNG retro-fitment option with a 3-year warranty.
Price Range - 7.99 lakh - 9.69 lakh (Bolero) and 8.49 lakh - 9.99 lakh (Bolero Neo)
Engine - 1.5L 3-cylinder, turbo diesel
The iconic Bolero has received subtle changes in 2025 avatar, featuring a new stealth black exterior finish for the first time. Moreover, the cabin now has a touchscreen infotainment unit and a Type-C charging port. It is powered by the same 1.5L mHawk 75 diesel engine that produces 75bhp and 210Nm of torque, and is pared to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Similarly, the Bolero Neo facelift gets an upgraded design and a feature-loaded cabin. It features a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a rear view camera, new USB-C charging port and others. Powering the Bolero Neo is the same 1.5L mHawk 100 diesel engine producing 100hp and 260Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Engine - 1.5L NA petrol & CNG
The Ertiga is India’s top-selling 7-seater MPV, which is equally popular amongst family buyers as well as fleet operators. The MPV is offered in multiple variants and is equipped with all the necessary features. It is powered by a tried & tested 103bhp, 1.5L NA petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Price Range - Rs 12.34 lakh - 13.49 lakh
Engine - 1.2L turbo petrol
Citroen has recently launched the Aircross X in both 5 and 7-seat layout. The 7-eater model comes with removable third-row seat, and is equipped with several new comfort and convenience features. While most of the 7-seater in this price bracket are MPVs, the Aircross X is retailed as a 7-seater urban SUV. The 7-seater version is powered by a 1.2L turbo petrol engine producing 109bhp and 190Nm. Torque output increases to 205Nm when paired to a 60-speed automatic unit.
Price Range - Rs 11.08 lakh - Rs 20.71 lakh
Engine - 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel
This is the premium and most feature-loaded 7-seater vehicle you can buy under Rs 20 lakh in India. The MPV offers multiple engine options, including fleet operators favourite diesel. Customers can also opt for the Carens model, which is now available in a single variant.
