    Tata Altroz Latest Update

    Latest Update - the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift has finally been launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 6.89 lakh, ex-showroom. The car is based on Tata’s ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) architecture, and received a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.


    2025 Tata Altroz Price


    The new Altroz facelift is available in 5 broad variants - Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S and Accomplished Plus S. The Tata Altroz price in India starts at Rs 630390 and goes up to Rs 1129990, ex-showroom Delhi.


    Key Features of Tata Altroz


    The premium hatchback is available with multiple comfort and convenience features. It comes with LED lighting system, flush-type door handles, a 10-inch HD infotainment unit by HARMAN and a 10-inch HD digital driver’s display. 


    In terms of features, the Altroz gets a 360-degree surround view camera, wireless smartphone charger, a voice-assisted electric sunroof, air purifier, Galaxy ambient lighting, IRA connected car tech and dual-tone roof. The instrument console also has in-built Map view and blind-spot monitor. 


    How safe is Tata Altroz?


    In terms of safety and security, the new Altroz gets six airbags and ESP (Electronic Stability Program) as standard. Other safety features include ABS with EBD, brake assist, reverse camera, a TPMS, rear parking sensors, LED fog lamps and others. 


    Altroz Crash Test Rating


    The Tata Altroz has been one of the safest hatchbacks on sale in India. It has scored a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating for adult occupants and a 4-star rating for child occupants.


    New Tata Altroz Specifications


    The new Altroz is available with 2 engine options - a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. Customers can also opt for a CNG version, which gets a 1.2L NA petrol + dual-CNG kit. 


    The 1.2L petrol engine is capable of producing 88PS and 115Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. In the CNG mode, the powertrain produces 73.5PS and 103NM, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. 


    The 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel engine is capable of producing 89PS and a peak torque of 200Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. 


    Tata Altroz Mileage


    The Altroz petrol is claimed to offer a certified mileage of 19.33kmpl with manual gearbox and 18.5kmpl with a DCT. The CNG version delivers an impressive fuel economy of 26.2km/kg. In the real world conditions, the Altroz should return close to 14kmpl in city traffic and 19kmpl on highways.

    The new Altroz is available in 5 exterior colour options - Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Royal Blue, Pure Grey and Pristine White. 


    Dimensions of Tata Altroz


    In terms of proportions, the Altroz hatchback is 3,990mm long, is 1,755 mm wide and 1,523mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,501mm. The car gets a standard 37-litre fuel tank and up to 16-inch alloy wheels. 


    Boot Space of new Altroz


    This premium hatchback has a luggage carrying capacity of 345-litres, which is more than sufficient to carry 3 suitcase set along with some laptop bags. 


    Despite having two CNG cylinders in the boot, the Altroz iCNG offers an impressive boot space of 210-litres.
