Toyota Glanza

Toyota Glanza is a premium city hatchback that has been developed in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki. The first product to come out of the JV, the Glanza is the lowest priced model and the only hatchback in the Japanese car maker's product line-up. First launched in 2019, the model was last updated in February 2022 with more premium features and an efficient engine option.

Toyota Glanza: Exterior

The 2023 Toyota Glanza’s exterior design is more muscular than before. It follows the company's design philosophy with the signature Toyota upper grille on the front end. Also, a sporty bumper sits right below it to add to the car's look.

The difference in design between the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Glanza is the presence of new LED headlamps and new alloy wheel design. For the rest, the 2023 Glanza utilises the familiar lines based on NEXA’s Crafted futurism design language. 

Toyota Glanza: Interiors and Features

Interior: The 2023 Glanza’s interior has evolved well over the previous generation model. Finished in a new black and beige colour theme, the car features more equipment than before.

Features: The New Glanza’s cabin features a large 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, HUD (Heads Up Display) and more. These include cruise control, rear AC vents, connected car technology with smartwatch connectivity, tilt and telescopic steering, among others.

Safety: In terms of safety, the Glanza gets 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill-Hold Control, Vehicle Stability Control, a 360-degree camera and more basic equipment.

Toyota Glanza price in India starts from Rs 6.86 lakh and extends up to Rs 10.00 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in a total of 9 variants that include E, S, G and V with both automatic and manual transmission options.

Toyota Glanza: Engine and Specification

The Toyota Glanza comes powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series engine that is offered with both petrol and CNG fuel types. The engine produces 89 bhp of maximum power and 113 Nm of peak torque in the petrol guise, while the figures drop to 76bhp and 98.5 Nm for the CNG version. The 2023 Glanza is offered with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option.

The Glanza measures 3,990 mm in length, 1,745 mm in width and 1,500 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. The car gets a 37-litre fuel tank and 15-inch alloy wheels.

The Toyota Glanza returns up to 22.35 kmpl in the petrol variant and up to 30 km/kg in the CNG trims.
