New Toyota Glanza Confirmed for October 14 Launch: ADAS, Ventilated Seats and New Engine

New Glanza to get LEVEL 2 ADAS It will get a 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine Top-end variant will get ventilated seats, HUD, TPMS, 360-degree camera

Following the launch of its sibling - the Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift - Toyota is gearing up to officially launch the 2026 Toyota Glanza facelift on October 14, 2026. The premium hatchback will receive refreshed design, advanced safety features and a brand-new engine. It will directly rival the Hyundai i20 and the Tata Altroz.

Design Changes

The Glanza facelift will retain the overall silhouette, but it gets some changes to its front and rear. It will have a larger, restyled V-shaped chrome front grille, reprofiled lower air intakes and a sportier front bumper with integrated squarish fog lamp housings. The hatchback will have 16-inch alloy wheels and rear C-shaped LED tail-lamps.

Interior and Safety Features

The cabin layout will remain largely the same, but the feature list will receive major premium additions. It will be packed with a 9-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging with active cooling, and Heads-Up Display (HUD). The hatchback will get a 360-degree surround view camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP and others.

The top-spec model will also get LEVEL 2 ADAS with active features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, forward collision warning and others.

Engine Specifications

Instead of the 4-cylinder, 1.2L K-Series engine, the Toyota Glanza facelift will get the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, Z-Series naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. This engine produces 81bhp and 112.4Nm of torque. A factory-fitted CNG option will be offered, delivering 70bhp and 102Nm of torque, and paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Similar to the Baleno facelift, the Glanza will return an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of over 24kmpl and over 33kmpl in CNG mode.
