Performance
The XUV 3XO is one of the few models available with a diesel engine in the market. It gets a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which offers spirited performance in city as well as on highways.
The inherent turbo lag in diesel engines is well-managed at low speeds. The power delivery is precise that makes cruising effortless. The engine is responsive and the 300Nm torque works absolutely well on the highway. Moreover, the six-speed gearbox makes driving easy and effortless on highways.
The XUV 3XO with the mStallion T-GDi turbo petrol engine is also the most powerful engine in its category. This 3-cylinder is remarkably refined and is silent even on higher speeds when compared to other turbo petrol engines.
The 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox works well with the powerful engine, as the shifts are smooth and quick. This combination comes with 3 drive modes - Zip, Zap and Zoom, which further enhances the overall driving experience.
Comfort
The Mahindra XUV 3XO offers a high seating position and offers a good view of the outside. The front seats are comfortable; however, larger size people could face some issues from side bolstering. There is no dead pedal for the driver to rest left foot while driving an automatic SUV.
The rear seat space is the talking point of the XUV 3XO, as it offers class-leading width. The wider seats and roomy cabin allows 3 adults to seat in second-row without any issues. The rear also gets three-point seat belts and dedicated headrests. The panoramic sunroof doesn't hamper the headroom space and it offers an airy feel.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes with multiple storage spaces to carry small items. Bottle holders are available on all doors, while a pair of cup holders are available for both front and rear occupants. Also on offer is a deep cooled glovebox.
