Mahindra Vision S Price in India
Unveiled on 15th August 2025, the Mahindra Vision S concept previews a sub-4 metre SUV based on the brand’s NU_IQ monocoque modular platform. Its production-ready version is likely to join the Scorpio family, and could be offered with multiple powertrain options. The Vision S compact SUV is currently undergoing testing and is expected to debut in 2027.
While official launch details are yet to be revealed, the Vision S is likely to arrive by mid-2027.
Prices of the Mahindra Vision S are expected to start at around ₹10.50 Lakhs*, and go up to ₹10.50 Lakhs* for the fully-loaded top variant.
The production-ready Mahindra Vision S is expected to stay largely true to its concept. However, styling elements such as bonnet-mounted limb raisers, the jerry can on the right side, the kerb-side stepladder and roof-mounted lights could either be removed or offered as part of an optional accessory package.
The concept features inverted L-shaped headlamps with a triplet of vertically staked LEDs, pixel-shaped fog lamps, 19-inch tyres, star-shaped wheels with red calipers, flush-fitting door handles bumper integrated reflector units and inverted L-shaped taillights.
Spy images suggest that final version will feature a panoramic sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, adjustable headrests, a rear centre armrest and three-point seatbelts for all occupants. Similar to the concept, the production model is also likely to offer dual-tone upholstery for the dashboard, seats and door trims.
Mahindra & Mahindra hasn’t yet revealed the engine specifications. However, the Vision S compact SUV is likely to feature a diesel engine and an automatic transmission. The carmaker might use its tried-and-tested 1.5L, four-cylinder diesel engine that currently powers the XUV 3XO. This motor is tuned for generating power worth 117bhp and 300Nm of torque. Speculations also suggest that petrol and hybrid powertrain options could be introduced at a later stage.
When launched, the Mahindra Vision S will be positioned against models such as the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq and Tata Nexon. Upcoming rugged SUVs like the Renault Bridger and Tata Scarlet are also expected to give tough competition.
