Toyota Glanza facelift could arrive in October 2026. Innova Hycross facelift is expected in early 2027. Both models could get new styling and more features.
Toyota is preparing major updates for two of its models in India. The Glanza facelift is expected to arrive in October 2026, while the Innova Hycross facelift is likely to make its debut in early 2027.
Both models will continue with their existing names and basic layouts, but are expected to get changes to their design, features and interiors. The Glanza could also get a new petrol engine, while the Innova Hycross is likely to continue with its existing petrol and strong-hybrid powertrains.
Toyota Glanza Facelift
The first update will be the Glanza facelift, which is expected to be unveiled on October 14, 2026. The premium hatchback shares its underpinnings with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, so some of the changes could be similar to those seen on the updated Baleno.
The biggest change could be under the bonnet. The updated Glanza is expected to get a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, replacing the current four-cylinder unit. Toyota is also expected to make some styling changes. The facelifted hatchback could get a revised grille and front bumper, along with other minor exterior updates.

More Features for the Glanza
The Glanza could also receive several new features with the facelift. These may include ADAS, ventilated front seats and a wireless phone charger. The additional equipment is expected to bring the hatchback in line with newer models in the premium hatchback segment. Toyota is also likely to revise the Glanza’s pricing after the update. The current model competes with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.
Innova Hycross Facelift
The second major update will be the Innova Hycross facelift, which is expected to arrive in early 2027. Test versions of the MPV have already been spotted in India, while a patent filing has also revealed details of its redesigned front section.
The biggest styling changes are expected at the front. The updated MPV could get a larger grille, slimmer headlamps and revised lighting elements. The design could also take inspiration from newer Toyota models, including the upcoming Hilux. Revised bumpers and fresh exterior detailing are expected as part of the facelift.
Cabin Updates Expected
Toyota is also likely to make changes inside the Innova Hycross. Reports suggest that the dashboard, upholstery and infotainment system could be updated. However, the overall three-row layout is expected to remain unchanged. The MPV is likely to retain its spacious cabin and existing seating arrangement.
Existing Powertrains to Continue
The Innova Hycross facelift is not expected to receive a major mechanical overhaul. Toyota is likely to continue with the existing petrol and strong-hybrid powertrain options. This means the facelift will mainly focus on styling, features and cabin improvements rather than introducing a new engine or platform.
