The i20 is a premium hatchback manufactured by Hyundai Motor India Limited. The model is one of the most popular hatchback cars in India. Hyundai i20 car is known for its combination of spacious interior, modern design, feature-rich package and performance. 

Design Highlights

The Hyundai i20 is designed with Hyundai's iconic "Sensuous Sportiness" design philosophy. Up front the car is highlighted by Hyundai's signature cascading grille flanked by sharp LED headlights offering projectors and LED DRLs. 

On the sides, we can see a sharp shoulder line, chrome highlighted window sills, flattened wheel arches and 16-inch alloy wheels. 

Towards the rear, the i20 provides a shark fin antenna, roof mounted spoiler, LED tail lamps connected via a chrome bar alongside a dual tone (body coloured & piano black finish) bumper.

Interior: Hyundai i20’s interior comes feature loaded and offers a good amount of space for its occupants. The cabin provides a dual-tone (beige and black) colour theme. The dashboard layout is modern with good quality materials being used to offer it a premium look. 

Features: New i20 offers features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Other additional equipment its have include a Bose sound system, wireless charging pad, panoramic sunroof, cooled glovebox, front & rear USB charger, Oxy Boost air purifier with air quality indicator among others.

Hyundai i20 price in India starts from Rs 599000 and extends upto Rs 1183400 (ex-showroom). There are 26 variants namely Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta (O). 

Engine and Specification

The Hyundai i20 comes powered by three engine options.

• 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing (83 bhp/114 Nm),
• 1.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol mill making (120 bhp/172 Nm) 
• 1.5-litre 4-cylinder oil burner delivering (100 bhp/240 Nm) of power and torque. 

The i20 hatchback measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,775 mm in width, 1,505 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,580 mm. The car gets a large 37-litre fuel tank and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Colours Options

There are 7 exterior colour options available on the Hyundai i20. They include Fiery Red, Starry Night, Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Titan Grey, Fiery Red with black roof and Polar White with black roof.
