The Hyundai Creta is one of the top best selling compact SUVs in the Indian market. Hyundai launched the Second Generation Creta in 2020 and the same is currently being sold. It is built on the company’s K2 platform.

Hyundai Creta’s exterior profile offers a bold and modern design. Up front, it provides the brands traditional chrome highlighted grille along side trio beam LED headlamps with crescent glow LED DRLs.
The Creta SUV has a strong and defined shoulder line along its sides. It also features noticeable wheel arches, stylish 17-inch alloy wheels, and black plastic cladding surrounding the vehicle.
Towards the rear, Creta get a sculpted tailgate that provides a shark-fin antenna, roof mounted spoiler, LED lights alongside LED center brake light and a skid plate.
Hyundai Creta: Interior & Features
Interior: The Creta’s interior boasts of an all-black colour theme. The dashboard layout is sleek and ergonomic offering high-quality materials. The quality of plastics used throughout the cabin feels premium and so does the leatherite upholstery.
Features: 2023 Creta offers features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Other equipment on the list include wireless charging, voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, auto healthy air purifier, ventilated front seats, blue ambient lighting, electric parking brake with auto hold, cruise control, Idle Stop & Go (ISG) and more.
Safety: In terms of safety, the Creta gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electrochromic Mirror (ECM), hill-start assist control, rear parking sensors, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a rear view camera, impact sensing auto door unlock among others.
Hyundai Creta: Price and Variants
New Hyundai Creta price in India starts from Rs 10.87 lakh and extends upto Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom). There are 18 variants namely E, EX, S, SX, and SX (O).
Hyundai Creta: Engine and Specification
Hyundai Creta comes powered by two petrol and one diesel engine option. First among the petrol powerplant is a 1.5-litre unit that produces 115 bhp of power with 144 Nm of peak torque. While the second happens to be a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol mill capable of delivering 140 bhp and 242 Nm torque.
The diesel on the other hand is a 1.5-litre oil mill that makes 115 bhp with 250 Nm torque. The SUV comes mated to a choice of a 3 gearbox options. They include a 6-speed manual IVT (Intelligent Variable Automatic and Manual), a 6-speed automatic stick and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Additionally, it also gets Drive Mode Select (Eco, Comfort & Sport) along with paddle shifters.
The Hyundai Creta measures 4,300 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. The SUV gets a large 50-litre fuel tank and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
