Hyundai Palisade Price in India
Hyundai Motor India is set to introduce its flagship SUV in India – the Hyundai Palisade. It’s part of the carmaker’s ambitious product lineup planned for launch over the next five fiscal years. Globally, the Hyundai Palisade is admired for offering a luxurious SUV experience, commendable road presence and strong value for money.
The Palisade SUV is expected to hit Indian roads by 2028.
When it arrives in India, the Hyundai Palisade is expected to be priced around ₹40.00 Lakhs* to END_Price (ex-showroom). If Hyundai opts for its localisation and begins exporting the model from India, the SUV could be offered at a relatively lower price point.
The second-generation Hyundai Palisade made its global debut in December 2024, featuring bigger body built and a longer wheelbase. It carries boxier stance similar to the Range Rover, and features a massive wide grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps and taillamps and 21-inch, 15-spoke alloy wheels. The silver finish body cladding, roof rails and D-pillars further enhance its rugged looks.
Being Hyundai’s flagship SUV, the Palisade offers an ultra-luxurious cabin experience with premium materials and high-tech features. The dashboard integrated dual screen setup instantly grabs attention, comprising a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display.
Other key features include a three-spoke steering wheel, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, in-built dashcam, a panoramic sunroof, powered seats with heating and cooling, V2L functionality, a 360-degree camera, a rear parking camera cleaning system, ADAS and more.
Globally, the Palisade is offered with a three-row seating configuration, accommodating up to eight occupants. The second-row captain seats are reclinable and come with deployable footrests.
The Hyundai Palisade marks the debut of the brand’s next-gen hybrid powertrain, which includes a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol and two electric motors. This setup delivers a combined power output of 334bhp and 460Nm of torque. It offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 14.1kmpl and a total driving range of 1,015km.
Hyundai claims that this 2.5L hybrid powertrain is 19 percent more powerful and 45 percent frugal than the standard 2.5L petrol engine. The SUV comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and FWD (front-wheel drive) system as standard. It also offers three drive modes – Eco, Sport and My Drive, along with three terrain modes – Sand, Snow and Mud.
In India, the Hyundai Palisade will rival multiple models such as Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, MG Majestor, Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron R-Line.
| Variants | Expected Price |
|---|---|
| Hyundai Palisade Standard | ₹45.20 Lakh* |
| Hyundai Palisade Top | ₹56.50 Lakh* |
