The Volvo EX30 interiors are made from recycled materials and is claimed to have the lowest carbon footprint of any fully electric Volvo to date. The small EV gets a 12.3-inch vertically stacked touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. In terms of features, the EX30 gets a 3-spoke steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, fixed glass roof, four USB-C ports, ambient lighting, a 1040W Harman Kardon audio system, and a digital key. 

Safety features of Volvo EX30

For safety and security, the Volvo EX30 gets multiple airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera and advanced driver assistance system. It comes with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind spot monitor, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, park assist, rear cross traffic alert, oncoming lane mitigation and braking, as well as intersection autobrake. 

Battery Specs and Range

The Volvo EX30 is available in a single extended range variant. It packed with a 69kWh battery pack and a rear-mounted electric motor delivering 268bhp and 343Nm of torque. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 5.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 180kmph. 

The Volvo EX30 is claimed to offer a certified range of up to 480km on a single charge. The battery is claimed to achieve 0-100% charging status using an 11kW charging in 8 hours. Using a 175kW DC fast charger, the battery can achieve 10-80% charging status in just 28 minutes.

Dimensions and Boot Space

In terms of proportions, the new EX30 electric is 4233mm in length, 1838mm in width and 1550mm in height. The smallest Volvo rides on 2650mm wheelbase and has a turning circle of 11 meters. It has a ground clearance of 171mm. 

The small SUV offers a boot space of 400-litres, which is good enough to carry couple of big suitcases and your regular office going bags or bag packs. Customers can increase the luggage carrying capacity by up to 1000-litres by folding the second-row seats.
