The Dynamic Line's Highline version is most value-for-money option in the MODEL line of cars. It provides core features with a price balance and some comforts, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen, connected car tech, and safety-related aspects like electronic stability control and six airbags.

The VW Taigun 1.0L MT and AT claim to offer an ARAI certified mileage of 19.87kmpl and 18.15kmpl, respectively. The 1.5L turbo version delivers 18.61kmpl when paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The turbo DCT model delivers 19.01kmpl. The 1.5-litre unit has a cylinder deactivation feature, which shuts off two cylinders at low loads for better fuel efficiency.

While the former is good for 113.42bhp and 178Nm of torque, the 4-cylinder turbo engine churns out 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox is available as standard. Other gearbox options include a 6-speed torque convertor automatic with 1.0L turbo petrol and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) with 1.5L turbo engine. 

Boot Space and Dimensions

Dimensionally, the new Taigun SUV is 4221mm long, 1760mm wide and 1612mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2651mm. The mid-sized SUV has a ground clearance of 188mm, while the fuel tank has 50-litres capacity. It offers a luggage carrying capacity of 385-litres, which is good enough to accommodate 3-4 bags.
