New Taigun Facelift – Booking Status, Deliveries and Price Reveal Soon

Taigun facelift bookings to open soon Deliveries expected after price reveal Prices likely between Rs 12–21 lakh

Volkswagen has officially revealed the updated Volkswagen Taigun in India.

The SUV gets multiple updates in design, features and powertrain, making it more competitive in the mid-size SUV segment. However, key details like booking, deliveries and price are still awaited.

Booking Status

As of now, Volkswagen has not officially confirmed the booking details for the Taigun facelift.

Bookings are expected to open soon, likely after the official price announcement. Dealership-level enquiries have already started, indicating strong initial interest.

Delivery Timeline

Customer deliveries for the new Taigun are expected to begin shortly after the price reveal.

Based on previous launches, deliveries could start within a few weeks of bookings opening, possibly around May 2026.

Price Reveal Soon

Volkswagen is expected to announce the prices of the Taigun facelift soon.

The updated model is likely to be priced between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom). A slight price increase is expected due to added features and the new gearbox option.

What’s New in the Facelift

The Taigun facelift gets a refreshed design with a more premium look.

It now features an illuminated Volkswagen logo, a connected LED light bar at the front, and updated LED tail lamps at the rear. New alloy wheels and fresh colour options add to its appeal.

Inside, the SUV now offers a larger infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster.

Other additions include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and improved connected car features with an AI-based voice assistant.

Engine and Gearbox Update

The Taigun continues with its 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines.

A key highlight is the new 8-speed automatic gearbox for the 1.0L engine, replacing the older unit. This is expected to improve driving comfort and efficiency.

The 1.5L engine continues with the 7-speed DSG gearbox.

Rivals in the Segment

The Taigun competes with popular SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

With the latest updates, Volkswagen aims to strengthen its position in this highly competitive segment.
