5 Facelift Cars Launching This Month – Full Details

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class facelift is expected to launch on October 5. Honda Elevate and Skoda Slavia facelifts are expected on October 6. Toyota Glanza and Volkswagen Virtus facelifts are expected later this month.

Several popular cars are set to receive major updates this month. Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen are preparing facelift versions of their models for the Indian market. These updates are expected to bring revised styling, new features and, in some cases, changes to the mechanical setup.

From the luxury Mercedes-Maybach S-Class to the popular Honda Elevate, here are the five facelift cars expected to launch in India this month.

1. Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Facelift

Mercedes-Benz will start the month with the facelifted Maybach S-Class, which is expected to launch in India on October 5, 2026. The updated luxury sedan gets a revised front-end with a larger illuminated grille, redesigned headlamps and new star-shaped daytime running lights. The cabin is expected to continue with a premium layout featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.4-inch central touchscreen and a 12.3-inch display for the front passenger. The overseas-specification S580 is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces around 537 hp and 750 Nm. Mercedes-Benz is expected to reveal the India-specification details closer to the launch.

2. Honda Elevate Facelift

The Honda Elevate facelift is expected to launch in India on October 6, 2026. The updated SUV is likely to get several exterior styling changes along with additional features inside the cabin. The facelift could feature a revised grille, updated LED lighting elements, new front and rear bumpers and fresh alloy wheels. The cabin may also get new upholstery and additional equipment. Honda is expected to add features such as ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen. The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is expected to continue. It produces around 119 hp and 145 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox.

3. Skoda Slavia Facelift

The Skoda Slavia facelift is also expected to launch on October 6, 2026. The updated sedan brings changes to its styling, cabin and mechanical setup. One of the key updates is expected to be the addition of a new 8-speed automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre TSI engine. The larger 1.5-litre TSI engine will continue with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Inside, the facelifted Slavia is expected to get a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 360-degree camera. A rear-seat massage function could also be offered on select variants. The update is focused on adding more features and improving the overall package while retaining the sedan's core character.

4. Toyota Glanza Facelift

The Toyota Glanza facelift is expected to arrive around October 14, 2026. The hatchback shares its platform and several components with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, so the updated Glanza is expected to receive similar design and equipment changes. The facelift could bring revised front and rear styling, updated lighting elements, new alloy wheels and changes to the cabin. More features could also be added to the equipment list. The existing 1.2-litre petrol engine is expected to continue. It produces around 82.9 hp and 112.4 Nm and is expected to remain available with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. The CNG version could also continue with the facelifted Glanza.

5. Volkswagen Virtus Facelift

The Volkswagen Virtus facelift is another major update expected this month, with the launch expected around October 25, 2026. The sedan is likely to receive exterior styling changes along with cabin and equipment upgrades. The existing petrol engine lineup is expected to continue. The 1.0-litre TSI could be offered with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, while the 1.5-litre TSI is expected to continue with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The updated Virtus could also get a 360-degree camera, revised infotainment software and other feature upgrades. The facelift is expected to retain the sedan's familiar design identity while giving it a more modern appearance.
