VW Virtus Anniversary Edition priced at Rs 19.20 lakh Gets new Avocado Pearl paint with a contrasting black roof

Volkswagen India has launched the Virtus Anniversary Edition at a price tag of Rs 19.20 lakh, ex-showroom. It is based on the top-spec GT Plus Sport variant. The new Volkswagen Virtus Anniversary Edition is available across Volkswagen dealerships in India. This also hints at the Virtus facelift, which is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.

The VW Virtus Anniversary Edition debuts a new Avocado Pearl paint paired with a contrasting black roof and black alloy wheels. This new paint scheme gives the Anniversary Edition a distinctive look compared to the standard GT Plus Trim.

Buyers can also opt for genuine Volkswagen accessories, including a 360-degree surround view camera, front parking sensors, and puddle lamps. These accessories are fitted at the dealership for both the Virtus and the Taigun. The new Anniversary Edition gets all the features that are accessible in the GT Plus Sport. It gets a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electric sunroof, laser red ambient lighting, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, aluminium pedals, auto dimming IRVM and others.

Powering the VW Virtus Anniversary Edition is a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, and is paired to a 7-speed DSG. The lower-spec Virtus also gets the 1.0L 3-cylinder, TSI engine that produces 114bhp and 178Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic unit.
