Hyundai Aura

The Hyundai Aura is a feature rich entry level sedan based on the Grand i10 NIOS. Built on the K1 platform, the Aura latest facelift model was launched on 23rd January 2023. Replacement for the Xcent, the car was introduced as an all-new model on the 21st of January 2020. 

Hyundai Aura: Exterior

New Hyundai Aura offers a compact and up market exterior design. Upfront it gets a newly designed LED DRLs with redesigned grille infused with new L-shaped LED daytime running lights.

On to the sides, we can see a strong shoulder line, flattened wheel arches, 15-inch alloy wheels and finish C-pillars. 

Towards the rear, it provides a shark-fin antenna, spoiler, chrome garnish on the boot lid alongside LED taillights, reflector inserts and an edgy bumper.  

Hyundai Aura: Interior and Features

Interior: Hyundai Aura’s interior offers a clean and contemporary design. Its dual tone (beige and black) colour theme gives the car a premium feel. A well layout dashboard with soft-touch materials and stylish trim accents complete the look of the cabin. 

Features: The New Aura features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other equipment on the list include height-adjustable driver seat, voice recognition, automatic climate control, fast USB type-C charger, cooled glove box, rear AC vents, wireless charger and more. 

Safety: In terms of safety, 2023 Aura gets 6 airbags, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), hill start assist control, vehicle stability management, ESC, ISOFIX child seat mounts, impact sensing auto door unlock, ABS with EBD and more equipment as standard. 

Hyundai Aura: Price and Variants

2023 Hyundai Aura price in India starts from Rs 6.49 lakh and extends up to Rs 9.05 lakh (Ex-showroom). There are 8 variants on offer namely E, S, SX, SX (O), SX+.

Hyundai Aura: Engine and Specification

Hyundai Aura offer two fuel types, petrol and CNG. The powertrain remaining the same, is the famous 1.2-litre petrol engine delivering a maximum power output of 82 bhp with 114 Nm of peak torque. While in its CNG form, the power plant produces 68 bhp and 95 Nm torque. Both engines come matted to a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission.

The Aura measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,680 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,450 mm. The car gets a large 37-litre fuel tank and 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The Hyundai Aura offers an ARAI Certified mileage of 14.5 kmpl in petrol and 28 km/kg in CNG.
