Next-gen Creta to get Pleos Connect infotainment system It could get up to 17-inch touchscreen infotainment unit
The third-generation Hyundai Creta, internally codenamed SX3, is currently undergoing road testing across different terrains, including high-altitude. The spy shots reveal that the next Creta will receive significant design changes, featuring a boxier profile and larger alloy wheels. Expected to be launched by mid-2027, the new SUV is likely to be revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in February 2027. The overseas spy images suggest that the all-new Hyundai Creta will be equipped with PLEO Connect Infotainment System, featuring a massive dashboard-mounted display (Up to 17-inch).
In the Pleos Connect Infotainment system, the touchscreen’s UI is divided into three core sections: a Driving Information Screen, an APP Screen and a Bottom Bar. The Driving Information Screen displays driving-related data, such as engine speed, vehicle speed, range, ADAS info, and more. The App Screen shows navigation details, media and third-party applications, while the Bottom Bar provides easy access to an array of recently used or pinned apps.
The SUV will have a slimmer driver’s display, which is also a part of Pleos Connect. This small driver’s display shows speed, media and turn-by-turn directions. The good news is that Hyundai will continue to offer physical buttons for multiple functions, including AC, volume controls and others.

The 2027 Hyundai Creta will be based on the K3 platform, which also underpins the new Kia Seltos. The SUV is larger than the current model, expected to measure around 4.45 meters in length. The longer wheelbase and bigger dimensions will allow Hyundai to offer bigger boot and more space in the second-row. It will be positioned above the Bayon midsize SUV in Hyundai India’s line-up.
The next model will have Venue-like boxy grille with rectangular-shaped elements, and a radar sensor for ADAS. It comes fitted with split-style headlights with LED DRLs on top and the main headlamp unit is placed lower on the bumper, while the rear has split LED tail-lights. Other design highlights include revised ORVMs, 360-degree surround view camera, flush-type door handles, large 18-inch alloy wheels and shark fin antenna.
The third-generation Creta will retain the existing engine choices, including a 115hp, 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 160hp, 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol and a 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel. Both manual and automatic choices will be on offer. The SUV will also get a strong hybrid powertrain, which is currently under development. The hybrid unit will utilise the existing 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired with an electric motor and a small battery pack.
