BYD Sealion 7 priced at Rs 41.90 lakh Festive Edition is tagged at Rs 50.60 lakh
BYD India has announced that the BYD Sealion 7 has crossed 5,000 customer deliveries in India since its launch in February 2025. The electric SUV brings together ocean-inspired design and BYD’s battery and vehicle technologies, including Blade Battery technology and Cell-to-Body architecture.
The BYD Sealion 7 Premium variant is packed with an 82.56 kWh battery with a claimed NEDC range of 567 km, while the dual-motor Performance variant delivers 390 kW of power and 690 Nm of torque. It is claimed to achieve 0 to 100 kmph acceleration in 4.5 seconds. Both variants feature a panoramic glass roof and a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen.
In August 2026, BYD India launched the SEALION 7 Dynamic at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 41.90 lakh. Its 71.8 kWh Blade Battery offers a claimed NEDC range of 520 km. This is the new entry-level variant, which retains the panoramic glass roof and rotating touchscreen.
The SEALION 7 Festive Edition, launched in October 2026, at Rs 50.60 lakh, ex-showroom, comes with a dual-tone Tan and Black interior to the Premium variant. Limited to only 150 units, it features quilted Nappa leather seats, a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade and a head-up display.
