Dynamic is the new base variant of the Sealion 7 Gets a 71.8 kWh battery, 520km Range

BYD India has silently launched a new entry-level variant of the Sealion 7. The new entry-level Dynamic variant is available at an introductory price tag of Rs 41.90 lakh, ex-showroom.

The BYD Sealion 7 is packed with a smaller 71.8 kWh battery pack, while the existing Premium and Performance variants are offered with 82.56 kWh battery pack. The new Sealion 7 Dynamic variant is claimed to offer a range of 520 km (NEDC) on a single charge. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in 7.3 seconds.

This entry-level Dynamic variant is equipped with features like panoramic glass roof, one-touch open/close tailgate, electrically heated and adjustable exterior mirrors, electrically retractable exterior mirrors, auto windows with anti-trap, and rear windscreen with electric heating and defrosting. It is packed with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-speaker audio system, LED lighting system, wireless phone charger, PM2.5 filter, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, powered front seats with driver having 4-way lumbar support, ventilated front seats, driver’s seat memory function, rain sensing frameless wipers and others.

For safety and security, the base Dynamic variant gets 11 airbags, 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, traction control system, EBD, hill hold control, auto hold and LEVEL 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane assist, traffic sign recognition and others.

BYD has also introduced new festive offer, which gives customers a complimentary 7 kWh home charger with installation. The company is also offering a 10-year roadside assistance conversion and a 10-year/1.5 lakh km extended warranty on the battery.
