Denza Z9 GT to debut in India on November 13. The luxury EV produces 1,156hp from three motors. It gets a 122.5kWh battery with a claimed 600km range.
Denza has officially teased the Z9 GT ahead of its India debut on 13 November 2026. The teaser video offers a glimpse of the upcoming luxury electric shooting brake, revealing some of its exterior styling and interior details.
The Z9 GT will be one of the first two models from BYD's luxury brand, Denza, to enter India. The other model will be the D9 luxury MPV. Both vehicles are expected to arrive as completely built units (CBUs), with sales handled through dedicated Denza showrooms.
The Denza Z9 GT is expected to be priced between Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 1.5 crore (ex-showroom) in India. The brand's broader product range is expected to start at around Rs 80 lakh. The Z9 GT and D9 MPV are likely to go on sale by the end of 2026. Denza will operate separate showrooms in India rather than selling its vehicles through BYD's existing network.

The Z9 GT is Denza's first model to feature a shooting brake body style. It combines the sporty look of a coupe with an extended roofline and a more practical rear section. The China-spec model features five digital displays, including two screens on the front doors that show the feed from its camera-based outside rearview mirrors. Other highlights include electrically operated doors, heated, ventilated and massaging seats, Level 2+ ADAS and rear-wheel steering. According to BYD India, the India-spec Denza models will offer the same features as their China-spec versions.
The Denza Z9 GT will be powered by three electric motors, with one motor at the front and two at the rear. The combined output is rated at 1,156hp, making it a high-performance luxury electric car. It gets a 122.5kWh battery pack with a claimed WLTP range of up to 600km. The electric shooting brake can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 2.7 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 270kph.
Another major highlight is its fast-charging capability. Denza claims that its 1,500kW Flash charger can charge the Z9 GT's battery from 10 to 97 per cent in just nine minutes. This charging technology could be one of the key highlights of the luxury EV when it arrives in India. More details about its India-spec features, charging support and final pricing are expected closer to its launch.
