BYD India to Debut Denza Z9 GT Shooting Brake on November 13, 2026
Denza Z9 GT will rival the Porsche Taycan India debut on November 13, 2026
BYD has confirmed that its luxury arm, DENZA will officially make its India debut on November 13, 2026. The company will initially introduce the Z9 GT Shooting Brake and the Denza D9 executive MPV. It will be positioned as an ultra-luxury EV brand targeting performance enthusiasts and executive buyers. Ahead of the official debut, the Denza Z9 GT, a high-performance electric shooting brake has been teased on the Internet.
The Denza Z9 Shooting Brake will directly rival the luxury grand tourers like the Porsche Tacan Cross Turismo.

Key Highlights
The Denza Z9 GT is based on BYD’s advanced e4 platform architecture paired with the e-Motion active chassis control system.
Independent Rear-Wheel Torque Vectoring - It has two independent electric motors driving each rear wheel. The Z9 GT can dynamically distribute torque to maintain stability during high-speed cornering
Crab Walk and Short Turning Radius: Despite measuring over 5.18 metres in length, the Z9 GT’s dual rear-wheel steering system gives a low turning radius of 4.62 meters. It also has a 360-degree compass turn from a standstill and crab walk capability.
It is packed with a 122.5 kWh battery pack, which is integrated directly into the chassis floor to keep the centre of gravity low.

- The dashboard has five interconnected screens, including a central floating infotainment unit, a dedicated screen for the co-occupant, a digital instrument cluster, and dual pillar-mounted displays showing live camera feeds in place of conventional side mirrors.
