Hyundai sold 62799 units in October 2027 Highest-ever total monthly sales of 82,299 units
Hyundai Motor India Limited has achieved its highest-ever total monthly sales (domestic + exports) of 82,299 units in the month of October 2026. The company has registered a strong year-on-year sales growth of 17.7 per cent. The company’s domestic sales hit 62,799 units, registering an impressive YoY sales growth of 16.7 per cent. The company exported 19,500 vehicles, registering a 21.1% YoY growth.
Commenting on the monthly sales performance, Mr. Tarun Garg, MD & CEO - HMIL, said, “October 2026 has been an exceptional month for Hyundai Motor India, with total sales of 82,299 units, our highest-ever monthly sales since inception with a robust 17.7% YoY growth. Strong festive demand, coupled with healthy momentum in both domestic and export markets, helped us set this new sales record. Going forward, the newly launched Hyundai BAYON - our Intelligent Utility Vehicle, will provide further impetus to our growth in India as well as across 50+ export markets, reinforcing India’s role as a strategic manufacturing and export hub for Hyundai.”
Hyundai Bayon CNG Launch in January 2026
Hyundai has recently introduced the Bayon midsize SUV at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh. The SUV is currently available in a single 1.5L NA petrol engine; however, Hyundai has confirmed that its CNG version will be launched in January 2027. The Bayon CNG will be the first Hyundai above 4 metres in length to feature a factory-fitted CNG kit. The SUV is expected to get an underbody CNG tank.
