New Hyundai i20 could be revealed on June 11 New teasers reveal headlamp, taillamp and new logo
Hyundai has released a new teaser of its next generation model, which will be produced in Brazil. While the company hasn’t disclosed the vehicle’s name, it is reportedly to be the next generation Hyundai i20. The new teaser reveals the first time details of the rear profile, the front grille and the hood, while the previous teaser showed its headlamp setup.
Hyundai is one of the global sponsors of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Korean brand will take full advantage of the visibility of the FIFA World Cup, and is likely to reveal the new i20 at some point - most probably around June 11, 2026.

The teaser highlighted the front lighting signature, called H-Architecture, of the 2027 Hyundai i20. It comprises of a continuous LED strip connecting the headlights. The company has also previewed part of the LED tail-lights and showed a renewed version of the traditional Hyundai logo placed to the hood.
We reported earlier that the Korean brand has enlisted the expertise of Continental to make adjustments to its gasoline engines. The spy images suggest that the 2027 Hyundai i20 has undergone a radical transformation. It will have a more modern and compact design, but it will be longer, wider and lower than the outgoing model. The new model will also debut a more sophisticated cockpit.

It will have an all-new interiors, featuring a digital instrument console, and a larger, curved floating 12.3-inch screen for the infotainment unit.. The cockpit will be complemented by advanced driver assistance system with features with adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane assist and others.
The 2027 Hyundai i20 is likely to be offered with the same 1.0L, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol and 1.2L, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine. Hyundai is also developing a new 1.2L turbo petrol engine, which will be hybrid ready. The same could also be offered with the new i20 and the next-gen Bayon SUV.
