2027 Hyundai i20 Gets 12.3-inch Connected Display - Fresh Details Out
Next-gen i20 debut during FIFA World Cup 2026 To get 12.3-inch integrated display for infotainment and instrument cluster
Hyundai has released a new teaser of the next-gen i20 hatchback, which is expected to be revealed during FIFA World Cup 2026. This time around, the Korean brand has revealed the infotainment screen and driver’s display. The new Hyundai i20 hatchback will get a massive 12.3-inch panel comprising a digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system. We have already seen the similar setup with the new Venue and the new Hyundai Verna.
The new Hyundai i20’s infotainment screen will get features like Hyundai Bluelink, wireless phone mirroring and the reverse camera. It comes with touch-sensitive controls for climate control system. This suggests that the new i20 will get most of its features from the new Venue on sale in India. The hatchback will also get advanced driver assistance system with features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane assist and others.
The previous teaser reveals the front and rear design elements of the new-gen i20 hatchback. It gets the signature H-Architecture for the front lighting system, and continuous LED strip connecting the headlights. It also gets new LED tail-lights and a renewed version of the traditional Hyundai logo placed on the hood. The Korean brand has enlisted the expertise of Continental to make adjustments to its gasoline engines. It will have a more modern and compact design, but it will be longer, wider and lower than the outgoing model.
The 2027 Hyundai i20 is likely to be offered with the same 1.0L, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol and 1.2L, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine. Hyundai is also developing a new 1.2L turbo petrol engine, which will be hybrid ready. The same could also be offered with the new i20 and the next-gen Bayon SUV.
