Tata Motors has yet to reveal the prices for the AMT and dual-clutch automatic variants, including the Pure S and Creative S variants, as well as the top-spec Accomplished +S variant. The Accomplished +S variant is available in petrol-MT and petrol-DCT forms. The Pure and Creative petrol variants also have an AMT option.
The updated Altroz now looks sportier and more modern. It gets a bold new front with twin-pod LED headlights, eyebrow-style LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and stylish pixel-like fog lamps. A wide black bumper design adds to its sporty appeal.
Tata has added flush-type illuminated door handles to the front doors — a first in this segment — while the rear handles are still hidden in the C-pillar. At the back, the Altroz gets new connected LED taillights, giving it a wider and more premium look.
Inside, the 2025 Altroz offers a more premium feel. It comes with a new beige-and-black dual-tone interior, a redesigned dashboard, and a new 2-spoke steering wheel that features an illuminated Tata logo.
One of the biggest upgrades is the new 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, paired with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other comfort features include a wireless phone charger, a rear seat armrest with cupholders, and a touch-based AC control panel.
The Altroz facelift is loaded with features. It comes with automatic climate control and rear AC vents, a single-pane sunroof, push-button start/stop, cruise control, auto-folding outside mirrors, and a height-adjustable driver seat.
Tata has focused on improving safety in the new Altroz. All variants now come with six airbags as standard. Other safety features include a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX mounts for child seats, and three-point seatbelts for all seats.
The facelifted Altroz features the same powertrain options as the pre-facelift model. These include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.2-litre petrol with CNG option, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine delivers 88 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque, and comes with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The 1.2-litre petrol+CNG variant produces 73.5 PS and 103 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque, and is available with a 5-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the petrol engine is also offered with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
With its new look and added features, the 2025 Tata Altroz will compete with other premium hatchbacks like the Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno, and Toyota Glanza. Starting at Rs. 6.89 lakh, the updated Altroz offers great value with its stylish design, smart features, and strong focus on safety.
