The suspense is over; Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the facelifted version of Ertiga MPV in the price bracket of Rs 8.35 lakh to Rs 12.79 lakhs (ex-showroom)
Maruti’s popular MPV, the Ertiga was long due for an upgrade and the automaker has finally launched the vehicle with a minor exterior update but significant mechanical upgrades. Maruti Ertiga Facelift is being offered in 9 variants that include two CNG trims as well.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift Variant Wise Pricing:
With a total of 9 trims on offer, here is the detailed pricing for the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift as a reference
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift Visual Updates:
As this is a mild model update, the MPV upgrades to the exterior are very limited. These include a more stylish and elegant chrome highlighted front grille, new set of two-tone alloy wheels and a chrome insert on the rear door garnish. When we talk about the cabin, then there is a sculpted dashboard with metallic teak-wooden finish. Plus, to provide a premium feel, one can also find new dual-tone seat fabric on board.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift Powertrain:
The MPV now comes equipped with a Next-Gen 1.5-litre K-series NA petrol engine featuring a smart hybrid vehicle system. Combined they help deliver a maximum power output of 104 bhp with 138 Nm of peak torque. Matted to the powertrain is a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This is just for your information; the carmaker has ditched the old 4-speed unit in favour of a more efficient 6-speed unit with a paddle shifter. Further, the four-wheeler is also available in a CNG option only in the manual trim. The ARAI claimed fuel economy of the vehicle is around 20.51 kmpl (Petrol) and 26.11kmpkg (CNG).
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift Features and Technology:
It now comes loaded with Cruise Control, driver side auto-window up with anti-pinch, auto headlamps with follow me home functionality and retractable key-operated ORVMs. Ertiga Facelift will also continue to offer features like air-cooled cup holders, a flat-bottom steering wheel with audio controls and a reverse camera. In terms of safety, the MPV is now equipped with four airbags (Driver, co-driver and Front Seat side), along with ESP and Hill Hold Assist in addition to the standard safety suite. Keeping in mind the cost conciseness of the market, Maruti has skipped premium features like a 9-inch SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and HUD. Instead, the car continues to offer the same 7-inch touchscreen system with a refreshed user interface and an onboard voice assistant to offer a seamless connected driving experience. However, the updated Maruti Connect app now features the ‘Hi Suzuki’ command and Amazon Alexa connectivity.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift Colour Options:
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift is now available in a total of six colour options with the introduction of two new paint shades namely Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown.
