Kia Syros EV Bookings Open at Rs 25,000 Gets two battery choices, 51.4kWh to offer 526km range Lifetime warranty on battery
Kia India has officially revealed the Syros EV ahead of its official launch later this month. Interested customers can pre-book the new electric SUV online or at Kia India dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. The Kia Syros EV is claimed to offer best-in-segment ARAI-certified range of 526 km along with a lifetime high voltage warranty battery. Kia is also offering an Assured Buyback programme and flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) financing.

Kia is offering a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty with the new Syros EV. Adding to it, there is an attractive Assured Buyback programme that safeguards residual value and provides confidence at the time of resale. It also comes with Kia’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme that eases the upfront acquisition cost through flexible financing options.
The new Syros EV is available with two battery options - 51.4 kWh with an ARAI certified range of 526 km and 42 kWh with 443 km range. The SUV supports up to 100 kW DC fast charging that takes the battery from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes. The Syros EV also features a 10.8 kW onboard AC charging capacity, backed by the K-Charge ecosystem's Integrated Route Planner and flexible charging controls.
Based on Kia’s K1 platform, the Syros EV offers a best-in-segment power output of 171 PS from its advanced NMC battery. It is claimed to achieve 0-100 kmph in just 8.1 seconds. EV-exclusive technologies include Paddle Shifters for Regenerative Braking with Auto Mode and i-Pedal, Vehicle-to-Load (Internal), a Battery Heating System, Digital Key, Virtual Engine Sound System (VESS) and Shift-by-Wire – Column Type.
The Kia Syros EV gets some EV-specific changes to keep things fresh in the market. It gets Kia’s signature Digital Tiger face, Ice Cube MFR LED headlamps, front LED fog lamps, and Star Map LED DRLs with integrated turn indicators. At the back, the SUV Gets Star Map LED tail-lamps. It comes either Auto Streamline Door Handles and 17-inch Crystal Cut dual-tone Aero alloy wheels. Black High Glossy Front and Rear Skid Plates with aero inserts, Black High Glossy Garnish Type Roof Rails and striking side garnish options complete its progressive SUV character.

Inside the cabin, the Kia Syros EV gets 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display Panel - integrating a 12.3-inch HD instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch Touchscreen navigation cockpit and a 5-inch climate control interfaces. This is supported by Kia Connect 2.0 with 95+ features, OTA software updates, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a Harman Kardon premium 8-speaker sound system and a Smartphone wireless charger.
It comes with 60:40 split rear seats with slide and recline function, rear ventilated seats, a 4-way powered driver seat, dual pane panoramic sunroof, 1st row 64-colour ambient mood lighting with LED footwell lamps, smart dash cam with dual camera, rear door sunshade curtains, and others.
The Syros EV comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS featuring 16 autonomous functions — including Front Collision-Avoidance Assist - car, pedestrian, cyclist, junction-turning and direct oncoming, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Keeping and Lane Following Assist, and Driver Attention Warning, High Beam Assist and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert. A 360-degree camera, Blind View Monitor in the Cluster and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – Reverse (PCA-R) alongside front, rear and side parking sensors support confident parking in tight urban spaces.
As standard, the SUV gets six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Break Assist System (BAS), Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, ISOFIX Child Anchorages and Rear Occupant Alert. All Wheel Disc Brakes and Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, providing comprehensive protection and greater peace of mind for every journey.

The Kia Syros EV will be available in seven trims across two battery pack options. It will come in 9 exterior colours, namely Glacier White Pearl, Frost Blue, Gravity Grey, Pewter Olive, Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte, Ivory Silver Gloss, Aurora Black Pearl and, for X-Line ER: Xclusive Matte Graphite & Aurora Black Pearl. The cabin offers multiple interior themes, including Cloud Blue & Grey, Onyx Black & Off-White, and the exclusive Onyx Black & Hunter Green theme.
